San Francisco Exploration

I recently moved with my wife back to her hometown of Auburn, CA, just 2 hours away from the infamous San Francisco. I had visited the city years ago but just recently explored it with my two buddies from Chattanooga, TN.

We began our day by exploring the Marin Headlands outside of SF. It was cool seeing cyclists climb the famous Hawk Hill and take in the views of the Golden Gate Bridge from various vista points. We eventually made our way to Point Bonita Lighthouse (which ended up being closed...). We thought we could climb up and around the closed tunnel through the rocks and ended up shuffling back down off the cliffside. (Don't report us, please).

After walking around some nearby military bunkers and taking in the Pacific Ocean views, we opted to head into the city to see some of the classic sights and take some photos. We ended the adventure with some Thai food and a very aggressive digestion walk up a mega hill to where my friend parked his car.

For some reason, SF always seemed like a tourist trap or a place where your car would get broken into and a tweaker would come harass you, but in all reality, the city of

San Francisco is still just as beautiful as I remembered, and I'm excited to continue visiting it and seeing more of this great city on the coast.
